First all-Australian recording
The first all-Australian recording of Beethoven's 32 piano sonatas and 5 piano concertos is a multi-award winning package. The 9 CD set of the sonatas won 2 ARIA awards in the Best Classical Music category (1999 and 2000), the 3 CD set of the concertos was nominated for an ARIA (2004), and the Emperor DVD, a world first, won the international DVD Association's Award for Music Excellence in 2005.

The recordings have been internationally acclaimed. They are released on Australia's premier classical music label, ABC Classics, and feature Australia's leading Beethoven interpreter, Gerard Willems playing the revolutionary, Australian-designed Stuart Piano.
